Netflix joining Facebook's Portal TV

With the objective of maximizing their profits during the festive season which is just around the corner, Facebook has added Netflix to it's Portal TV.

The Portal TV is regarded as the future of video calling with the ability to start or join calls of up to 50 people with the Messenger Rooms services. It has now added Netflix to its list of streaming services which includes Amazon Prime Video, Dish Network's Sling TV and iHeartRadio to mention but a few. Both Portal TV, Portal Mini and Portal Plus offer Zoom video conferencing.

In the same vein, a one touch button remote has also been introduced for Netflix, Prime Video and Facebook Watch. The shipping of the remotes with the Portal TV has begun today the 6th of October and will soon be available at retail outlets in the coming weeks.

The AR effects in the Photo Booth app can now be controlled with only one's voice, thanks to the social media gaint,Facebook. Users can also specify French, Spanish Italian and English for on-screen text on the Portal as it is currently supporting the mentioned languages with more to come.
